03.19.04 - Do I ever cross your mind, anytime? Do you ever wake up reaching out for me...

Just some late night pondering...about my blog, actually...

First things first, for those fanlisting administrators who are visiting to see if I've put up the code...not quite yet! I'm getting there, but I'm just extremely lazy and procrastinate more so than one should do. But I swear, they will be up in due time...as will my new layout.

Anyway, what I was saying...yes, I was just wondering...am I actually an interesting person? I mean, if I personally read my blog, and didn't know me, then I would probably skim through in a completely impersonal manner and surf onto another site promptly.

I mean, to me, my blog entries have some kind of significance (although that may be highly arguable sometimes) for obvious reasons, but there isn't really anything exciting going on.

Okay, maybe that's a lie, and there is some so-called excitement on a more personal level that I choose not to blog about, but even on the excitement scale, it's more of a 2 or 3 as opposed to a 10. Actually, even if it was a 10, I probably wouldn't say anything about it because I'd be too busy enjoying it, does that make sense? No, probably not outside of the context it lives in within my deluded imagination....thoughts...no, imagination....it's hard to separate those two lately. Although one might argue that delusion is imagination realised, but that's a whole other discussion that I'm not willing to get into at the moment.

In any case, my point is that it's difficult to judge the quality or significance of someone's life based on their public web journal, although that's not what I'm saying that you, dear reader, are doing. To articulate, there's the question of, "What makes a good blog?" Is it based on substance and content, or style? I mean, the obvious answer is "both", but say that the criteria were mainly about content. From a stranger's point of view, I just wonder what I seem like.

Okay, this is starting to sound completely self-absorbed and almost narcissistic, so I'm going to stop.

Wow...two blogs in one night. I really don't have a life.
